Nathaniel (“Nathan”) Oleson is a Senior Counsel I at Rudderow Law Group and brings over fifteen years of civil litigation and appellate experience representing businesses, property owners, and individuals in a broad range of complex disputes. His practice focuses on business and real estate litigation, including unlawful detainer, property disputes, breach of contract, and other matters involving business and property interests. Nathan has also handled complex litigation, giving him experience navigating disputes involving estates, fiduciary relationships, employment, and closely held assets. His broad litigation background enables him to approach complex disputes from both a legal and practical perspective, with a focus on developing effective strategies and achieving favorable results for his clients.

Throughout his career, Nathan has represented clients ranging from small businesses and property owners to larger organizations, and has served as in-house counsel, providing him with a firsthand understanding of the legal and business considerations that drive important decisions. This experience informs his approach to litigation, allowing him to understand not only the legal issues presented by a dispute, but also the operational, financial, and personal considerations at stake. Nathan graduated from Trinity Law School where he served as managing editor of its Law Review. Nathan is also a licensed California real estate broker and has held his real estate license since 2012, further strengthening his ability to advise and represent clients in matters involving real property and business interests.

Nathan grew up in North San Diego County, where he operated a small business for several years before attending law school. In addition, he raised cattle, golden retrievers, and emus. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking & grilling, hiking, and traveling. His appreciation for the outdoors and his curiosity about new places continue to provide a welcome balance to the demands of litigation.
