Luis Valencia-Moreno is Senior Counsel I at Rudderow Law Group with over a decade of experience litigating complex real estate, business, and landlord-tenant disputes. His practice focuses on representing property owners in commercial and residential real estate matters, including breach of lease claims, specific performance, quiet title actions, and habitability defense, as well as disputes involving easements, broker liability, and non-disclosure. He brings a practical, results-driven approach to every matter, from pre-litigation strategy through trial and judgment enforcement.

Before joining the firm, Luis was the founding attorney of Valencia | Moreno Law Group, where he represented a wide range of clients in real estate and business litigation throughout California. His work included resolving high-stakes commercial lease disputes, pursuing fraud and nondisclosure claims, and negotiating favorable outcomes in complex property and contract matters. He also has extensive experience with transactional real estate, including drafting purchase agreements, easements, commercial leases, and secured loan documents, and frequently advises clients in connection with real property acquisitions, leasing, and entity formation.

Luis began his legal career at the Legal Aid Society of San Diego in 2012, where he represented over 700 clients and gained substantial first-chair trial experience in a broad range of civil matters, with an emphasis on landlord-tenant disputes. He has since expanded that experience in private practice, litigating diverse cases at Southern California Realty Law and later through his own firm, Valencia | Moreno Law Group.

Originally from the Bay Area, Luis earned his law degree, cum laude, from California Western School of Law, and has called Southern California home for more than twenty years. He served two full terms on the Board of Directors of Just in Time for Foster Youth and remains actively involved with the organization’s mission to support transition-age foster youth as they enter adulthood.

Outside of work, Luis enjoys surfing, woodworking, riding motorcycles and bicycles, and spending time outdoors with his family.
