Lawrence “Larry” Iglesias is an associate attorney at Rudderow Law Group, APLC. A member of the California State Bar since 2015, he has extensive experience handling civil litigation cases from pre-trial through trial, including post-trial proceedings, appeals and enforcement. Mr. Iglesias has handled a wide variety of litigation and trial matters in state and federal court, including the defense of professionals such as attorneys, real estate brokers, landlords and debt collectors.

Mr. Iglesias is experienced in complex business and commercial litigation, complex and class action litigation, employment litigation and creditor’s rights litigation (including the defense of lawsuits brought by consumers arising under the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, California’s “Unfair Competition Law” and California’s Rosenthal Act).

Mr. Iglesias’ practice also includes fiduciary capacities related to probate, estate administration, trusts, conservatorships and durable powers of attorney.

Mr. Iglesias has been a member of several trade organizations focusing on creditor’s rights, including the California Association of Collectors and the International Association of Credit and Collection Professionals.

Mr. Iglesias obtained his Bachelor of the Arts in Communication from California State University, Humboldt (which subsequently became California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt), magna cum laude, with an emphasis in public speech and debate. He earned his Juris Doctorate with distinction from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. He graduated with a certification in mediation and alternative dispute resolution.

Mr. Iglesias has served on an Internal Review Coard for UC Davis Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences, in protecting human research subjects by ensuring the adequacy of informed consent was compliant with the law, the University and fundamental ethical principles.
