Steve Pornbida

Steve Pornbida is a senior counsel at Rudderow Law Group.  His practice focuses on real estate, business litigation, contract disputes, insurance defense (with a concentration on premises/product liability and catastrophic injury), reinsurance, construction defect, financial practices (both institutional lenders and loan servicers) and complex civil litigation.

Steve obtains consistently solid results for his clients through his attention to detail, emphasis on preparation, and discovery expertise.  Aggressive but thoughtful advocacy has earned Steve the respect and trust of both colleagues and clients. He has prevailed at several bench trials in contested real estate and foreclosure challenge cases, obtained defense verdicts on two auto collision cases on retrial after prior adverse judgments, and obtained dismissal for clients in multiple matters through his persuasive motions for summary judgment.

Born and raised in Orange County, Steve graduated from UCLA with BA in linguistic anthropology, and a minor in political science.  He received his JD from Chapman University School of Law, where he was a member of the Land Resources Society, the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, and the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity.  Steve loves spending time with family, traveling, poker, and science fiction.
